Lost Rocket - Synopsis
Lost Rocket is an epic, time-spanning saga of survival, faith, and destiny, where the past is never truly gone, advanced technology tests the limits of humanity, and one young man must decide if he has the vision and strength to carry forward a legacy born among the stars.
In 1587, the Lost Colony of Roanoke vanished without a trace. History called it a mystery. But imagine if what happened to them could reshape worlds?
What if an alien race abducted the colonists, and an infant grows up, forced into a brutal existence on a distant planet, one of two human worlds divided by war, survival, and destiny. Against impossible odds, she rises from captivity to lead her people to freedom, guided by faith, courage, and an unshakable vision. What she builds becomes more than a refuge… It becomes a legacy.
Centuries later, that legacy lives on.
Robby Rocket, a gifted but impulsive young warrior, raised in a technologically advanced civilization where human life has evolved far beyond Earth. With his little AI junior space fighter, sidekick NFTI, age-defying medical breakthroughs, and powerful energy systems capable of hyper-speed space travel, and both healing and military weaponry, his world stands on the very edge of something extraordinary…
But once again, they are not alone!
A relentless, catastrophic alien force looms—ruthless, calculating, and deeply embedded across planets—threatens to ignite a war that could annihilate everything the humans fought to create. As hidden enemies close in and old wounds resurface, Robby must confront grief, anger, and the weight of a legacy he does not yet fully understand.
Torn between vengeance and a higher calling, Robby faces a choice that will define not only his future, but the fate of two worlds.
Author
Paul Chiniquy
Paul Chiniquy and his wife raised a large family. In his professional career, he sold a manufacturer’s commercial foodservice equipment, including conveyor pizza ovens, to chains and restaurants. He was a self-taught screenwriter, studying and writing for years in motel rooms at night. Then life got in the way, and he stopped writing for fifteen years.
He became his wife’s full-time caretaker for her final five years. After her passing, he attempted to make sense of his life. He then remembered a story idea that he had thought about since 1997, so he wrote it into a screenplay. After reading it, a film studio executive suggested ‘it would make a great novel.’ Even with the help of his insightful son, Chad, and other unique and talented individuals mentioned above, adapting the screenplay into a novel was very difficult. And each time he quit, he would think of his wife. So, writing became less painful.
